Continuing the Varanasi project series , this image is from a day before the actual celebration of Dev deepawali. This day is like the small Diwali where lamps are lit & small Pooja (prayers ceremony) takes place. In this image you can see the lamps decorated in different shapes & hundreds of people gathered to pray & watch the beautiful & divine ceremony. I was also very curious about the ceremony & how it takes place. While watching it I saw this young sadhu (priest) adoring the lamps & praying along with many others. The devotion among people I saw in varanasi was very different & pure , I can feel a sense of divinity in that land of gods.

This was on the way to our hotel in Poovar , Kerala. An island far from the big city of Kerala , where fishing is the main source of income for many of the residents. One of my bucket list places was Kerala , the simplicity of this place was beautiful , it feels like sitting in the lap of nature & just listening to the music of the waves. Where there is light there is hope. I think this line goes with the photography aspects too. Anyways this photograph is from madame tussauds in London. We were just going to move out of the place when I found this lady perfectly standing with the light coming through a window , which made it a great frame to capture.
